Here are a couple of pictures during the renovation process. We put down hardwood floors, painted it, and put up slat wall for the product shelves.
Here are the guys putting up our signs.
It's starting to come together!
We'd like to thank everyone for their help and hard work. My sister and brother-in-law for their help in helping us move into our apartment and for helping to lay the hardwood floors. Caleb's dad and brother for helping with the slat wall and electrical work. Last but not least, the gang from the warehouse for all their help with the signs and getting the store set up.
We opened our doors on February 17, 2012 for a couple of hours and officially our first day of business was February 18, 2012. Here is a picture of us with our first profits. Our first sale was our hottest hot sauce.
As if moving and opening a business weren't stressful enough, we decided we'd do this too:
Yep! I got pregnant with our third. Stubborn little thing. It took 3 ultrasounds to find out if it was a boy or girl. I'm happy to say, my instinct was right, it was a girl.
We welcomed our third (and LAST) child into the world on December 29, 2012, just one day before my due date. This was AFTER being in the hospital two days before with the stomach virus, lovely.
She is perfect and already spoiled rotten. Her big sister and brother love her to death.
We hit our 1 year anniversary as small business owners yesterday. It was a whirlwind year, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! This is what the store looks like one year later: Pepper Palace - PCB Store Tour
So, that's what I've been up to...how about you?
